I've decided that my half-way-through-the-year-resolution (that's a thing, right?) is to start blogging. I can't promise that I'll be good at it, or that I'll stick at it, but here goes. Once I start college, or 6th form, I guess it'll be a lot easier, as I'll actually be getting dressed nicely every day, and doing something, where as right now study leave consists of PJs, food and revision.
My grandma has started giving me her old clothes. This dress is from the 30's she thinks, which makes it around 80 years old, which I find so amazing. It's very fragile and has marks under the arms from where she's repaired some tearing, but other than that it's in perfect condition. I would love to know more about the history off the dress, if anyone knows anything about the makers I would love to know.
She also gave me this wonderful vintage crop top, it's such an adorable hippy piece (she's a big old hippy my Gran), I think it's perfect for the festival season. It's made from a really thin and soft material, and the detailed floral embroidery is so summery.
