Latitude, The Dickies, Hookers and Babies

Getting into Latitude was the most fun I've had in a long time, it was all totally amazing, although a lot smaller than I thought it'd be. We managed to get past security, after being sent to a million different places and telling a million different lies. We walked around for a few hours, ate some Thai food and went to this awesome ethnic tent where we brought a gem stone, some brass mirrors and two candle lanterns. It was amazing in there!
None of the main bands that were on were any good, so we went to the stage where my dad had his PA equipment, but it was in total darkness. After stumbling about between the sofas for a bit trying to get across (the whole stage was set out like a front room) we finally spoke to someone and found out there was a power cut across half of the festival.
Once the power had come on again we stayed and watched this really amazing band, they were African blues, which admittedly, the sound of it doesn't appeal to me, but they were seriously talented and sounded amazing.
After that we spent a few hours packing the sound equipment away, falling over and stepping in huge mud piles a lot, but I have to admit it was fun.

Phallic instrument - well you know what they say about black men.
Then a few nights after I set up for The Dickies, they were great and the whole night was awesome, apart from the end. We'd just finished packing the equipment away. I was stood on my own and this guy came up to me, who was clearly at least very drunk, and goes "Alright darlin', alright, darling, alright, want some money darling?" I thought I knew what he meant, but I didn't want to believe it, so I just shook my head and walked away. Then just as I was getting into the van to go, he comes up again and goes "100 quid" and winks at me. Who offers a 16 year old girl money for sex! Dad then asked me what he said to me, and when I told him I had to hold him back from beating him up. Some people are so sick.

And finally, we have a new member to the family! Baby Benjamin! I hate babies but he is so cute! My new little cousin :)
